For Suntory, their mission was clear: ditch the predictable and dare to be different. Here’s how we transformed their annual conference into an energising, immersive experience that inspired bold thinking and united their teams.
The Challenge
How do you take a traditional conference format and flip it on its head? Suntory wanted to:
Unite Field and Internal Sales Teams under ambitious 2025 goals.
Break away from boring and create a conference that truly embodied their theme: Dare to Be Different.
Deliver an experience that energised, inspired, and connected attendees - while making every moment count.
The Experience
We built a conference that felt more like a festival of ideas than a corporate event. Here’s what made it different:
Theme That Flows - “Dare to Be Different League” ran through every touchpoint, from content to catering, creating a cohesive and memorable experience.
Content Reinvented - No death by PowerPoint here! We banned slides, brought in an improv rapper as host, turned sessions into game shows, and kicked off Day Two with a Big Breakfast Rave.
Interactive Energy - Haka energisers, audience participation, and breakout sessions kept engagement sky. high.
Connectivity with a Twist - A league themed tournament encouraged networking through playful competition. Shout out to the winners: The Fizzy Rascals!
Entertainment That Pops - Mentalist David Meade wowed the crowd, Denise Van Outen shared her Big Breakfast story, and DJ Jaguar Skills closed the night with an electrifying set.
